Virtual Lark was a huge success. Over 700 people registered and everyone, virtual campers and organizers alike, loved the event. Special thanks go to:
- The VL team – Will Wheeler, Simon Lace, and Summer McCall – for their work in producing the event;
- All the volunteers who helped people get into their breakout rooms on Zoom or kept track of questions in the Chat sections for instructors;
- All the instructors;
- Everyone who attended;
- Everyone who donated to the event. We’re happy to report that we received enough donations to cover our expenses.
We’re getting better at this virtual game! This time, people were able to move themselves around to various breakout rooms for the workshops, sessions, and social gatherings. That’s a good thing, because this week the Lark Traditional Arts Board came to a difficult conclusion: We won’t be able to hold camp in person in 2021.
