Wanda Law

Wanda Law has enjoyed playing Irish fiddle for over 30 years. She and her husband Ian, who plays Irish flute, are members of the Siamsa Gael Ceili Band, one of the San Diego area’s oldest traditional Irish music groups. In 1986, Wanda won the Grand National Irish Fiddle Championship in Los Angeles, and that same year joined the staff of Lark Camp, where she has continued teaching fiddle classes each summer. She has appeared five times as fiddle soloist with the San Diego Symphony for their popular Celtic Celebrations Winter Pops series, and often plays fiddle for step dancing and ceilis. Wanda is currently a violist with the San Diego Symphony and has been a long time member of the Pacific Symphony and San Diego Opera Orchestra. In recent years, she has been performing and recording with uilleann piper Eric Rigler, who is known for performing on soundtracks for movies such as Titanic, Braveheart, and Outlander.
