In the 90’s, Ginny danced with the Nordahl Grieg Leikarring, a Norwegian recreational and performing dance group of the Bay Area. More recently, she was a member of Vestafor, a group that offered Norwegian dance and music workshops, concerts, and performances across the northern U.S. from Boston to Seattle. She has been active with Bay Area Scandinavian and International dance groups, both as a dancer and instructor, traveled all over Norway with a dance group, and has spent a year in Sweden studying the nyckelharpa and Swedish traditional music. For the past 30 years she has run a week long international dance for campers for Oakland’s Feather River Camp.
