Swing & Jazz Vocals

In this workshop we will learn a number of swing/jazz vocals by rote.
Connie will supply the class with lyrics, chord charts and some sheet music. Each class starts with a short vocal warm up and a bit of instruction in vocal technique including breathing, postur, etc. We sing a song together as a group until someone is ready to try it on their own or with another classmate or two. It is great fun to hear the different interpretations of these songs. We also perform as a class at the Swing dance.
