Pablo will teach twelve pieces drawn from the repertoire of the famous iconic gaita quartets of the Pontevedra region of Galicia. He will teach Gaita technique as well as Galician percussion.

Cano (who frequently teaches at Lark, but can’t make it this year) will assure there are transcriptions written out in the key of D (though bagpipes in C will be used for the class) as well as providing mp3 audio of all the pieces—these will be available in the Lark Library found here: https://library.larkcamp.org/Gaita/Gaita.html
