Guerilla Music Theory

Following the footsteps of the great Chris Caswell, who invented this topic years ago, we will embark on a journey to learn about the theory behind the melodies, chords, keys, rhythms and more, in a friendly and easy to understand way, using the songs and tunes that you already know. Main emphasis will be on practical use of this skill, making you better at your playing, singing, improvising, arranging, transcribing, teaching, composing (and perhaps even composting). Printed materials will be provided and audio recording is encouraged. This class will be taught using the mandolin though it is open to players of all instruments and singers, all levels welcome.
