Greek Rebetika for Voice & Instruments

Songs of love, drugs, and despair from the ports and urban centers of 1930s and 40s Greece. Recommended instruments include bouzouki, guitar, accordion, baglama, mandolin, violin and voice and all skill levels are welcome. Less about repertoire, this workshop will provide a deep exploration of the style and feeling of Rebetika, with an emphasis on two person harmony singing.
