Western Swing Tunes

Western Swing Tunes

Western swing music is a genre that developed in the southwestern United States during the 1920s and 1930s. It is characterized by a unique blend of various musical styles, including country, jazz, blues, and swing, creating a lively and danceable sound. In this workshop we will be learning some classic western swing tunes. We will also discuss arrangements and work with improvising solos in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We will provide lyrics, chord charts and some sheet music. As Bob Wills would proclaim….”Ahaaaa!”
