Irish Mandolin, Begin/Intermed

This workshop will focus on the basics required to get the feel, pulse and flow of Irish music on the mandolin. This is about understanding the rhythms of the music and focusing on the movement of the picking hand. We’ll do picking exercises and learn a few simple tunes together, by ear, and use those tunes to reinforce, drill and practice what we learn. Bring a recording device!
