Karina Wilson hails from New Mexico, and has chased music from every folk tradition she has found. Karina has been learning, playing, and teaching contra dance tunes during her travels from Alaska to Paris since the 1990s. She has investigated the history of Argentine tango to better understand the musical migration and preservation of the dance and music form in the modern world.
